Plymouth District Bar Association

The Plymouth District Bar is the oldest social and charitable bar organization in America. It is open to attorneys, judges and court personnel who live or work in Plymouth County.

Members meet for social interaction, dinner and a speaker January-June and September-December, typically on the last Wednesday of the month. Members are encouraged to bring spouses, significant others or family members to the meeting.

Charitable endeavors include donations of scholarships for local high school graduates, donations of teddy bears for children being adopted in Plymouth Probate and Family Court, and also donation of a set of flags for the Plymouth District Court hearing room.

Membership fees have been $25.00 for many years, but will soon be raised to $30.00 per year. Paid membership entitles the member to a reduced meal price and inclusion in the membership directory if dues are paid in a timely fashion.

While a Past President’s Committee is being formed, no other committees exist or are planned at this time.
